The India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA) has introduced its newly formed Executive Council, which was announced at its annual membership meeting held in Bangalore. Dr. V Veerappan, Co-Founder and President of Tessolve Semiconductor Private Ltd., has been named Chairman for the term spanning 2024-25.
Taking on the role of Vice Chairman is Ruchir Dixit, Vice President & Country Manager at Siemens EDA. Sudhir Naik, Founder and Advisor at EInfoChips Ahmedabad, will maintain his position as Treasurer. The council also welcomed several new members including Navin Bishnoi, Rajeev Khushu, and Sanjeev Keskar, while retaining five members from the previous year’s Executive Committee.
With an extensive career spanning over four decades, Dr. Veerappan expressed his appreciation and shared an ambitious vision for IESA’s role in advancing the Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) sector in India. He emphasized the importance of fostering partnerships across industry, educational institutions, and government bodies.
Ashok Chandak, the President of IESA, emphasized the organization’s dedication to fostering innovation and strengthening collaborative endeavors under the leadership of Dr. Veerappan. With the revamped leadership framework, IESA is positioned to drive additional expansion in the semiconductor and ESDM sectors throughout the country. Veerappan shared a visionary perspective for IESA’s role in advancing the Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) field in India, emphasizing the significance of partnerships among industry, educational institutions, and government bodies. Ashok Chandak, IESA’s President, highlighted the organization’s commitment to promoting innovation and enhancing collaborative efforts under Dr. Veerappan’s guidance. With the new leadership structure, IESA is well-prepared to stimulate further growth in the semiconductor and ESDM industries nationwide.
